Translation:Hearing this, Mary said, "How, O Lord, shall I have a son, when no man has ever touched me?" "Thus shall it be," was the answer. Allah creates whatever He wills. When He decrees a thing, He only says, "Be" and it is. |

Translation:The Jews and the Christians say, "We are the sons of Allah and His beloved ones." Ask them, "Why then does He punish you for your sins? In fact, you are also human beings like the other human beings He has created. He forgives whomever He wills and punishes whomever He wills. To Allah belongs the Kingdom of the earth and the heavens, and all that is in it and all shall return to Him." |

Translation:The Messengers said, "Do you have doubt about the existence of Allah. Who is the Creator of the heavens and the earth? He calls you that He may forgive you your sins and give you respite till your appointed term." They answered, "You are no more than human beings like ourselves. You intend to debar us from the worship of the deities whom our forefathers have been worshiping. Well, bring a clear Sign." |

Translation:The Messengers replied, "It is true that we are no more than human beings like you, but Allah shows His favor to anyone of His servants He pleases. And it is not in our power to bring any Sign for you. A Sign can come only by Allahs permission. And in Allah alone should the believers put their trust. |

Translation:We know very well what they say about you: "Surely a certain person teaches him." But the person to whom they allude speaks a foreign tongue, and this (Quran) is in plain Arabic. |

Translation:O Muhammad say to them, "I am a human being like you: it has been revealed to me that your Deity is only One Allah. Therefore the one who expects to meet his Lord, should not associate with Him any other deity in His worship.†|

Translation:Those of the chiefs of his people, who had rejected his Message, said, "This person is no more than a human being like yourselves. By this, he merely intends to obtain superiority over you. Had Allah willed, He would have sent down angels. Since the time of our forefathers we have never heard (that a human being came as a Messenger). |

Translation:They deserved this fate because their Messengers came to them with clear Signs, but they said, "Shall mere human beings show us guidance?" So they refused to believe and turned away; then Allah also became indifferent to them, and Allah is indeed Independent and worthy of all praise. |
